This month I listened to music on trains, on the Metro and walking through Paris. I stood in a French bar and someone was playing Jens Lekman for me. Hundreds and the Shins accompanied me on my way to work each day, putting smiles on my face and setting the tone for the coming day. The first summer mood appeared and with it Marine Girls, whose tunes that remind me of beaches, of Coney Island and iced coffee. I was introduced to the music of a French duo called Brigitte in Paris and fell in love with it one week later when seeing them in Berlin. Eventually I rediscovered my love for finding old & new gems, as well as compiling and sharing playlists – Spotify being the perfect tool for this.
