Postmodern Patterns by Write Sketch &

As you might have learned from my recent post about Japanese stationery, I do have a thing for stationery and I thought it might be fun to feature some stationery products or brands I like up on the blog – to give you and me a break from all the travel posts. I came across this Italian brand called Write Sketch & via People of Print, a great resource for all things printed, and I fell in love with their patterned notebooks immediately.

The stationery brand from Milan was founded by Matteo Carrubba and Angela Tomasoni, two art directors with a passion for graphics and printing. The notebooks are 100% made in Italy and of high-quality materials. Oh, and they look absolutely stunning.

As you can see, postmodernism and patterns from the 80s and 90s were an inspiration here. And, while I wish I could own all of them – my favorites are definitely from this collection of golden notebooks:
