There is another long weekend ahead of us, and I am looking forward to three relaxing days – I have nothing planned, and it feels great. In case you get bored over the weekend, here are some things and links to inspire you.

A Sunday postcard to you.
The alarm clock goes off at 6:30 every morning. On a perfect morning, after a little bit of snooze and cuddles with the cat, I will get up with enough time on my hands to dedicate to three things that set the tone for the rest of the day.
A walk through Zurich’s old botanical garden. I just love how nature transforms throughout the year and how plants are a thing of beauty even in the midst of winter.
I went for a walk in the woods today. I wanted to go looking for some fir cones for our Christmas decorations. I came home empty handed but encountered the most beautiful scenery. Fortunately, I had brought my camera.

Today we took a walk in the woods up on the Zuriberg, which is located just a short funicular ride from our home. I love getting lost in its web of pathways, hiding away from the city for a while. The woods are the best place to experience the change of the seasons and they are particularly beautiful in autumn, don’t you think?
