You belong to me and all Paris belongs to us.

Now that everyone seems to be on their summer vacation, it occurred to me that I never shared pictures from our trip to France. This year, easter was vacation time for us: Zürich – Paris – Marseilles – Côte d’Azur. I was oblivious of how close Paris is to Zurich by TGV, and how little time it takes to get to Marseilles from there, so on a Thursday afternoon, right after work, we started our trip.

Paris was wonderful. We had rented a beautiful apartment on the 6th floor on the Avenue de la Republique, conveniently located between Le Marais with its great shops and cafés and the equally intriguing area around Canal St. Martin. We had made a few plans, yet most of the time we spent walking around, exploring and taking pictures. I will never stop loving the wide streets of Paris with their beautiful buildings and the fact that you will be able to get a decent petit café about anywhere you go.
