It’s been a long time since I took pictures with an analog camera. But I still do have a couple of film cameras hidden away in a cupboard somewhere. So, among my trusty Minolta SRT and some Polaroid cameras, I found a tiny Olympus XA I had never really used up until now. It’s a super small point-and-shoot camera I rediscovered through some Instagram users. A few weeks ago I filled it with one of the many expired films that have been occupying the top shelf in our fridge. For the next days, I carried it everywhere I went and was really fascinated about how differently you take pictures with an analog camera compared to an iPhone or a DSRL.
