Through the Streets of Pacific Heights, San Francisco

After a great breakfast at B. Patisserie, we went for a walk around the Pacific Heights neighborhood. We walked up steep hills and passed many beautiful old buildings until we reached the corner of Broadway and Lyon Street. From here you have a great view onto the bay with the dome of the Palace of Fine Arts in the foreground.

Next to the Lyon Street Steps, there is the entrance to the Presidio, a former military fort turned park. So, instead of walking straight down the steps, we headed into the woods of the Presidio. It’s a beautiful stretch of land, everything was green and blooming. Oh, I wish I could share the scent of the eucalyptus trees with you.

We walked down Lovers Lane and eventually reached the Letterman Digital Arts Centre, home to Lucas Films LTD. There is a Yoda themed fountain outside and an exhibition of Star Wars memorabilia in the foyer of the main building. The little Star Wars nerds inside of us were quite delighted.

From there we headed on to a bus stop to go to Golden Gate Bridge and on a little hike to Baker Beach from there. Here are some pictures from our walk to a fraction of Pacific Heights and the Presidio:
