Moorten Botanical Garden, Palm Springs

Moorten Botanical Garden in Palm Springs was founded as a succulent garden in the late 1930s. Since I love a good botanical garden and succulents, we simply had to go. So when we visited Palm Springs, we grabbed some bikes at our hotel, the Ace Hotel & Swim Club, and arrived at the garden a few moments later. The garden is extensive, quaint and charming. You can feel that it has been founded and kept by succulent lovers for all these years. It was also the first place where I witnessed hummingbirds feeding on cacti blossoms.

We spent quite a while strolling through the gardens, taking pictures and marveling at those beautiful plants.
